I know the title is such a cliche, but I found that it was the best title that fit the picture and also it does't give EVERYTHING away.

This is for a contest on [link] by ~ Fanta-chan. :w00t:

The topic was that we had to draw a twist in original The Lion King plot. I've been asking this question my whole life (since I watched TLK for the first time), why didn't Simba just ignore Scar's mind-games and run home? Every kid need his parents' emotional support. :nod: So I came up with this.
I must admit, I've developed a few techniques in drawing and colouring while our internet was "broken". :giggle: Anywho, I hopes you like it! Oh yeah : Tablets RULE! :laughing:

Simba thought he was responsible, also feeling guilty for his father's death. Simba was afraid of what his mother and pride would think he's just a young cub. Scar truely is the best disney villian i must say.

Such a beautiful yet sorrowful and amazing picture =D

This simply amazing and very true, if he hadn't followed Scar's words, what WOULD have happened?? Every childs question when watching this movie *nods* You captured it very nicely, the details are amazing!

Aww, had this happened instead, I'm sure Scar wouldnt have found it so easy to become king (I think ^_^;). I like the coloring :)

I like your drawings... The clean lines, the sharp and clear colors. Facial expressions, there is a smile of yours on your characters that is not from TLK and an anatomy twist of your own. It's neat. I like your sense of colors.
